a) To update the current Code in response to feedback and to meet the needs of the future;
b) To enhance provisions for the elderly and persons with disabilities to support an inclusive and friendlier built environment.
The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) is inviting feedback on proposed draft Code on Accessibility.

The committee, comprising representatives from relevant government agencies, the building industry and voluntary welfare organizations (see Annex A) aims to update the current Code to meet the needs of a wider spectrum of people.
