Detailed Description

1. The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) invites members of the public to provide feedback on the Workplace Fairness Act (WFA) Second Bill, from today till 19 September 2025.

2. The WFA, which was passed by Parliament in January 2025, covers the scope of protections against workplace discrimination and employers’ obligations. A Second Bill is targeted to be tabled in end-2025 to introduce the procedural rights and processes for individuals to make private claims under the WFA.

3. This Consultation Paper seeks feedback on:

   1. the approach for amicable and expeditious resolution of Workplace Fairness disputes,

   2. the judicial forum to hear Workplace Fairness claims, and

   3. the representation of parties by unions for Workplace Fairness claims.

4. Please submit your feedback by 19 September 2025, 5pm. We will consider the feedback when introducing legislation for private claims under the WFA.

MOM reserves the right to make public all or part of any written submissions made in response to this Consultation Paper and to disclose the identity of the source.
