REACH NATIONAL DAY 2026 SOCIAL MEDIA CONTEST

Eligibility:

1. This contest is open to all Singapore citizens and Permanent Residents as of the date of entry. Employees of the Ministry of Digital Development and Information (“MDDI”), its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, are not eligible to participate in the contest.

2. The contest starts on 9 August 2026, and ends on 23 August 2026, 11:59 pm, UTC +8. All online entries must be received by 23 August 2026, 11:59 pm, UTC +8.

3. By participating, you agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Terms and Conditions. You represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of MDDI as final and binding as it relates to any decisions made in connection with this contest.

Contest mechanics:

4. Your entry must fulfil all requirements pertaining to this contest, including these Terms and Conditions, as well as all instructions, rules, specifications or guidelines as may be specified in relation to the contest. Entries that are incomplete, or that do not adhere to all specified rules or specifications, may be disqualified at the sole discretion of MDDI.

5. To participate in the contest, you must complete the following steps on Instagram:

   • Step 1: Follow the official REACH Instagram account @reachsg.

   • Step 2: Share the contest post to your Instagram Stories and include a birthday message to Singapore Make sure your account is public so we can see the repost.

   • Step 3: Tag three (3) friends in the comments section of the contest post.

   • You will be deemed to have submitted an entry for the contest, when the above steps have been completed. You may only submit one (1) entry.

   1. By submitting an entry, you represent and warrant that:

      1. You are the owner of the copyright and any other intellectual property right in the entry submitted by you;

      2. You have not licensed or assigned any copyright or intellectual property right in your entry, or any part thereof, to any third party anywhere in the world.

   2. Any entry which in MDDI’s view contains defamatory, violent, infringing, obscene, pornographic, sexual, indecent or unlawful material and/or that violates local and international laws and regulations, shall be immediately disqualified.

   3. Any entry which is incomplete, illegible, incomprehensible or not received by MDDI will be void. MDDI reserves the right to disqualify any entry which does not comply with the criteria stipulated in these Terms and Conditions or is otherwise deemed ineligible at MDDI’s sole discretion.

   4. Any entry which has been submitted using false, incorrect, fraudulent or misleading information, including but not limited to personal details and contact information, will be void. MDDI also reserves the right, at any time, to invalidate any entry which it suspects to have been submitted using false, incorrect, fraudulent or misleading information, including but not limited to personal details and contact information that have been submitted through the use of multiple identities, email addresses or accounts.

Prizes:

6. Up to 20 winners (each a “Winner”) will be randomly selected by MDDI from all eligible entries submitted as of 23 August 2026, 11:59 pm, UTC +8.

7. Each Winner will receive one (1) REACH Kueh pouch containing a reusable bag.

8. MDDI will notify Winners of their selection via Direct Message (DM) on the platform through which their entry was submitted. Winners must respond to MDDI’s DM and provide MDDI with the required information for prize delivery. The prize will be mailed to the address provided by the Winner. Each Winner will be entitled to only one prize. If multiple Winners provide the same mailing address, only one prize will be given in respect of only one Winner, regardless of the number of entries submitted in association with that address. In such an event, MDDI reserves the right to determine who will receive the prize.

   1. The Winner must provide MDDI with the contact/delivery information in accordance with clause 8, by 6 September 2026, failing which, MDDI reserves the right to forfeit his/her prize or select another winner using the method set out in clause 6.

9. Any personal Information you provide will be protected in accordance with the Singapore Government Privacy Policy statement.

10. By entering this contest, you understand and agree that MDDI, or anyone acting on behalf of MDDI, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, for the next two years and throughout the world, without limitation, your entry, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image, statements about the contest, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes, without compensation, notice, review, or consent.

11. MDDI reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest should any virus, bug, non-authorised human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond MDDI’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the contest. In such case, MDDI may select the Winners from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by MDDI. MDDI reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the contest or website or violates these Terms and Conditions.

12. By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless MDDI and its advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees and officers from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) your participation in the contest and/or your acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorised human intervention in any part of the entry process or the contest; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the contest or the processing of entries.

13. MDDI reserves the right, at any time, to change, modify or supplement these Terms and Conditions or any part thereof. The changed, modified or supplemented Terms and Conditions will be posted here.
