ABOUT SINGAPORE MODEL CABINET (TERTIARY)
The Singapore Model Cabinet (Tertiary) is a REACH initiative that aims to create a platform for tertiary students to better understand the considerations behind policy making. By involving participants in the simulation of cabinet meetings, participants will understand first-hand the challenges in creating policies, balancing short and long term needs and governing a country in a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous environment. At the end of the SMC (Tertiary), participants will come away with a better understanding of Singapore’s place in the world and how our unique circumstances shape our policymakers’ decision making process.
