Proceedings on City Harvest Leaders after Sentence

The Office of the Commissioner of Charities (COC) will commence proceedings to remove the City Harvest Church (CHC) leaders convicted of criminal charges after they are sentenced.

Responding to queries on 21 Oct, the COC said it “will seek representations from the City Harvest Church and the seven suspended individuals…as to why the COC should not remove them. The COC will consider fully and fairly all representations received before making a decision.”

Proceedings to remove eight former CHC executives members were deferred in August 2013 until the court case concluded. Amongst the eight individuals were the the six accused who were convicted and found guilty.
