Active Aging
I fall asleep easily especially in bed, unable to stay up late into the wee hours of the morning. Working life is tedious for most of us. For some of us experiencing osteoporosis or muscular fatigue in our joints/hips that dread with aging, it all depends how much we can afford in our healthcare and how well we manage our day to day living. While in my office, I don't anticipate any thrill or excitement when someone suggest about an idea in a group discussion, a proposition, a thought about a new eating experience or buying a new home.
I work commitment centers around people who need to see me and I do my best to assist them. Knowing my physical limits, I'm slowing down, taking things easy and live each day worry-free and eating moderately. There are many age old people who could not afford regular healthy food while living cost is escalating or attend exercise classes in the CC or gym. As a good friend of mine said to me. "lot depends on our destiny since our younger days and now into our old age with either positive or negative thinking" (unquote).

It's should be call "DAYS of your elderly LIFE". Not our life.
Living " Worry-free and still can choose to eat heavy, or light " is a blessing.
While many elderly now still picking tin cans, cardboard, and still have competition from foriegn workers in this tin can, cardboard job.
I know my foriegn workers last time try to earn from this. But later he found so many Singaporean elderly so poor that have to do this job. He let it go. " Fighting with the elderly's job " ?
It's strange that you don't thrill or excitement when you see your elderly friends ( Grow-up the same timing / Same location ) begging for survival. Maybe that the Self-content Rich man thinking. Feeling like GODS of the world.
And only thrill and excitement when they facing their own poverty. Group discussion is important to solve the problem. If you face that in the office. Maybe it's time to let go your seat to someone else and retire. Give your income to someone else loh. If you business-owner, close your business and give to someone else to earn lah. Money enough for you liao mah.
Just like I say to PAP MP, if you feel rich and forget who vote you IN.
Step down and let the worker's party get involve and be our govt. Anyway we need a NEW govt and NEW ideas. The ideas from the OLD PAP are dead anyway.
