What about..MP LAM...
who recently wants SPECIAL FUNDS TO HELP PRS -  for goodness sake, Singapore taxpayers' money for ppl we dont even know!

What about....MP IRENE NG....
who is eagerly writing letters on behalf of  PRs and FOREIGNERS to apply for  Singapore citizenship!
And she blogs "welcome to our extended family" !!   They're flocking to her like bees to honey.

What about.....MP CYNTHIA PHUA....
for having a mentally-ill boy arrested. He did no know what he was doing in a fit of anger.  We must listen to both sides of the story, and not to just Phua's.

Thanks to the internet, we are aware of their  'kind' deeds..

Well, PAP has always use "cluster" aero-dynamics to drive one single idea.

They should only trumpet when concrete results are clearly shown ie Employment Pass reduced by 3% in year 2011 amidst GDP growth of X% etc.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Futhermore, they have adopted alot of refugees as their children when the family vehemently disagrees.

They should treat their own children squarely according to "good" or "bad". The Singapore law has shown overt bends and loopholes not suited for this complex nation.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The government drives but without consistent checks on all mirrors.

Recent wayward consequences were only cleaned- up, but 10 years later.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
These Ministers are very educated, more than 80% of us.

But they lack common sense and flexibility on approaches.

To sum it up, I must they all did very well for now (actually is that there's nothing much that we can do now, really)  till the next examination sceduled in 2016.
But, expect a 360 or even 730 changes in late 2015.......

I agreed with you. PAP always said good things, do good jobs before elections.

These anecdotes do give a profile of the challenges we face with our government leadership. Discourse should be carried out over and over to assess our wish for the kind of values we want them to embody.

The interesting thing would be to see how long can the PAP last.

Unlike private comapnies, the MPs are elected and poor performance is seldom tolerated well.

PAP had lost its coherence. The calibre of people they had been recruiting is getting from bad to worse. Personally, i think that in the last GE, had it not been LHL last minute reversal of policy and a humbling apology, the impact would had been worse and its downfall hasten.

As it is now, people are still giving respect to the old guard, like LKY. Once he is gone, it will be interesting to see how the party can hold on.

The more concerning thing would be, How would Singapore do without PAP?

Despite all the PAP's flaws, it still have one of the best talents around ( although aggrogant and self concieted ). Desipte being more self serving, their compentency would still be able to ride out the "stormy" seas.

So unless a credible alternative crops up, PAP would still be retaining power and we will continue our decline into a decadent state based on power.

For awhile, I was amused.

Some maybe right, but some not.

I dont think you can stand up to the lawsuit if ALL of them take it up on you.

You should apologise yesterday, and you still have not left the country yet?!
