The PRC guy said: "Singapore has more dogs than human beings." What does he mean? Are you angry?

Yes, he said sorry. But his apology might be because he doesn't want to lose his scholoarship or to placate S'poreans.

Some people claim he says S'poreans are dogs. But he did say there are human beings here. So what his words really mean?

Surely we shouldn't wrongly accuse a person. That's why we should very objectively understand what he said.

I think you are du*mb (& a dog, starting this argument, again, afterall said), and I dont think you are wrongly accused.

I am very objective about my claim.

Right that u withdrew the word "dog". Now you should realise you and that guy might be sama sama.

Your word "du*mb" is not appropriate too.Would you withdraw it too?

The government has made thousands of blunders, esp in inviting foreigners to come here without ANY stringent checks nor managment. You can see all this unhappiness and frustations clearly reflecting their inability to handle such a small island, yet drawing obsence amount of salary between 2007 to 2011.

so what's your point? trying to brainwash us into thinking it's okay for him to post a remark like that? objectively understand? isn't it like super obvious that he is comparing locals to dogs? how more obvious do you want the obvious to be???

he as a scholar should know what to say and what not to say.

and you are either an FT (Foreign Trash) or one of the 60.1% who refuse to wake up.

if you are a FT, sorry but your opinion is worthless to me.

if you are one of the 60.1%, please wake up and vote carefully in ge2016, don't later kanna screw then kpkb.

and NUS su*ks, just send that animal back to his country already

养只小狗十年,老来对你中心
养只孙旭十年,倒反咬你一口

sun xu, if you still have any dignity, show us, stop using our money and go back to your country already.

fake scholar.

"how more obvious do you want the obvious to be???"

Subjectively speaking, I don't find the reference behind "dog" that obvious at all. He could be referring to your much-hated PAP government or what you call "foreign trash". Sometimes you have to concede that pointing one finger at others would have four of your own pointing back at you. My intention for putting this message here is as questionable as anyone else's for or against harping on the issue. If you like to know I believe in taking other approaches to rectify the problem.

p/s I'm not the thread starter.

"there are more dogs than humans in Singapore"

Well, good for you.

There are more dogs than humans who reply to my post.

Well, not obvious at all.

Come off it, I'm sure the next employer to reject your job application would also be called a "dog".

And that, is not obvious at all.

It would be the same as saying, "there are more trolls on this forum than actual contributors", albeit we know that the quantifier "more" is a hyperbole.

Just because there are many people in the internet said that PRC guy was wrong, it doesn't mean he must be worng. We shouldn't adopt Mao's cultural revolution style to determine whether an opinion is correct.

if you think he is not wrong, then maybe he isn't, but if WE think he is wrong, then obviously he is wrong.

get it? you believe you are a dog doesn't mean we believe we are dogs.

are you a foreign trash? well i feel that you don't feel anything when people call you a dog, so i figure you MUST be a FT.

if you are a FT, please stop trying to represent us Singaporeans, we can handle our own affairs, no need you to be kpo, understand?

"you believe you are a dog doesn't mean we believe we are dogs."

And if you let yourself be trolled and the rest don't follow doesn't mean they are feeble-minded.

There's a real cause for worry in that with our superlative internet penetration rate we are seeing more trolls per capita in our cyber-sphere. Everywhere else people are using forums for their intended purpose, there's no trolling as rampant as on our online properties. Basically those who want to vent will go play MMOGs...

I hope you get my drift.

No, I don't get your "drift".

Are you a Singaporean? If not, please screw off.

If you are, explain further.

You mean you can't carry an argument against foreigners? What are you trying to run away from, after crying for a beating that few Singaporeans would care to serve?

If you think this isn't a whole lot of noise for drowning out objective discussion at least know that you're banging on the wrong door. Find the right exit for that broken mind record.

===================

Who are "WE" you refer to? Tell you a principle: that many ppl think an opinion is wrong doesn't mean the opinion is wrong.

Did he say S'poreans were dogs? That's why there is a need to understand his words carefully.

Your friend insulted me as a dog and du*mb.Should he be punished?
