Budget airlines become very popular. They are not just cheaper but they allow online booking. Many customers prefer go online instead of visiting travel agencies.
Our Budget terminal provide very basic service. In compare with Hong Kong, there are almost no different between budget airline passengers and non budget airline. The service standard is the same.
In Manila, budget airline Cebu Pacific use T3. The best airport terminal in Manila.
In China ,Shenzhen, all passengers included Tiger airways use the same airport terminal.
None of the above mentioned terminal will require waiting passenger to stand and queue. However, In Singapore Budget terminal passenger have to stand and queue in front of gates. Air conditioning is not strong enough. Passenger will feel hot during sunny day. Every year many visitors will use budget terminal. They may not be impress with our BT
If other countries e.g. Philippine, Hong Kong , China .... etc can maintenance such better standard. Why our BT have to be left behind ?
At least BT shall provide enough seats for all waiting passengers in front of gate. BT's standard shall not be too far away from Manila's T3 or Shenzhen's airport terminal.
