One Singaporean and Two Britons have been charged on Tuesday with conspiring to cheat investors of US$2.4 million (S$3.1 million), Channel NewsAsia reported.
44-year-old Singaporean Geraldine Anthony Thomas, her husband Briton John Andrews Nordmann, 53 and their business partner Timothy Nicholas Goldring, 58, have been charged with 86 counts of abetment by conspiracy, the broadcaster said.
Talents at work......but I'm not sure about this Singaporean with a name Geraldine Anthony Thomas
, sure she is not a converted Singaporean? Pardon me if I'm wrong.
If so, then are we trying to attract all these talents to our already crowded country? Of course, many will argue that these are only three, not point to woo and wow over this...but think again, how many out there are really here to help us? I think it's more like to help themselves, really.
So what do you say?
