Law Minister K Shanmugam calls for ASEAN solidarity.
It is very important for ASEAN to sand together in all issues as this will strengthen ASEAN.
Taiwanese TV reported that the recent Code of Conduct which was held in Cambodia cannot be issued jointly by ASEAN is due to the fact that Cambodia was "bought" by China.
Taiwanese TV says China has given pressure to Cambodia as Cambodia is also an close ally of China.
this recent issue has also seen the Philippines government to put the blame on Cambodia for subbotaging the solidarity of ASEAN

I have not seen true ASEAN solidarity as yet, and I don't foresee it anytime soon. Don't be too fast to cast the stone at Cambodia this time round. Remember, we are also in the "sinitic" bloc in ASEAN. You never know when it is our turn to trip ASEAN's agenda. Or we already had, given our leaders' pro-China policy.

No organisations can live forever and agree on all issues all the times. Even brothers and sisters in the same family cannot always agree on everything.
