Perhaps due to our competitiveness of our society, and the constant struggle to pursue life's needs (home, car, career, family needs, medical, etc), and STRESS ....people around me seem to be getting worked up WAY TOO easily.

Perhaps to me its like we might just be too overtly competitive and view losing-out  as an ABSOLUTE NO NO.

Then there is the WHY MUST I BE THE ONE WHO GIVE WAY

and the ***** FELLA BLOCKING MY WAY

and COMPLAIN COMPLAIN COMPLAIN

Singapore should build more programmes in our parks and beaches with incentives so that families can go out together and have fun, and learn to bond.. if not build for what.. all wasted.

like family feast dinner at east coast park that has 20 % discount if you come out with your family members . Grandpa Grandma + another 5%! just an example!

I myself is a working adult, and seldom have time with family till it's late at nite. TV and Internet and whatsapp are how to pass time before it's bed to next day work.

Perhaps the TV can also show more family bonding movies before bedtime..

I think the latest show on RETRO CHINESE DRAMA on RETRO SINGAPORE (forgot the name) is GOOD STUFF

and maybe more shows on how large families bond together may help too..

JUST A SINGAPOREAN WHO WANTS EVERYONE TO JUST CHILL OUT MAN.

GO OUT HAVE SOME FUN

Personally I think Singaporean are a wek bunch, we complain and complain but do nothing :)

I was in RWS the other day. While it is apparent and that a couple was wrongly forced to the end of a queue, all that couple did want complain and complain, to themselves. They are so nice that they did not try to force their way nor escalate it higher to the RWS management.

So they nicely stand in bhind the queue and complain and complain :)

I think you are wrong. Singaporean are stress out all level.

LOOK at RWS. It's so pack on weekends and even weekdays The Singaporean only got that day to enjoy as we all work here. Yet we still have to suffer the "OVERCROWDING".

Even our homes are overcrowded already. We are not weak. Look at the Ah mo. the foriegners from USA, Europe.

They can only live in Sentosa. Where it's pay $6 or $10 dollars per entry.  They go out of Orchard road. They may kill themselves if they eat at hawker centre.

Only china, India, bagala who is even more crowded than us see Singapore not overcrowded.

Dear Dream Knight

Sorry. I need to wake you up.

Do you know what causes frustration? It is because after trying to tell the government, write -in to Stomp/ CNA, clamour after years about certian issues . . .that Singaporeans ended- up with frustration. There are many books in the NUS library that you really need to read- up first.

When humans cannot take-control of their own life and must abide to the nuisance call of PAP. . . .WHO will not be frustrated? Over a period of years, it becomes a habit.

IMH repoted that 1 in 16 has major depression and 12% of our population are facing this, assuming it does not include non-citizens as they ALL have jobs, a country that  they can return to and a family eargerly waiting for them.

So when Gan Kim Yong opened the gate to invite the 4 types of trash ( Semi-skilled, Transferred from other *****ries, Unwanted and Fake), he actually welcomed bionic social problems of developed countries, too.

That is the problem of PAP. They plan and plan . . . but cannot manage. They only want the goods things but not the ill-effects. Since when did Gan Kim Yong ever repented for his mistakes?

He opened the legs wide but forgot to plan for mental -health issues that is prevalent in developed countries. So what the Hell is PAP doing, rotate them from one department to another, so they learn to be irresponsible? If so, then their salary should never be allowed to increase at all!
