Quit often when seeking help from the Meet the People session, the officer incharge helping us to write to respective government sector to handle the case. However, when the case pass on to respective government sector, the officer there did not follow up the case as it is. Not to include, the case has kept on passing around from one place to another.

There is a case of mine since last year. Officer in charge of Meet the People session send a mail to HDB. HDB officer hand over the case to HDB Town council. HDB Town council hand over the case to their specialist contractor and they confirmed the problem arise due to to their fault. Since the problem arise due to their fault, my case still has not been solved. Instead the specialist contractor hand it over to another specialist contractor and said they will settle for me. 2 months after, no news from there on......Total it takes more than 8 months since the day seeking help from the Meet the People session and the case still not been solved. Often, I am the one who chase the officer and yet nothing has been done.

Why it takes so long?

Why nobody monitoring to get the things done?

Who suppose to be responsible to monitor after the public seek help from the Meet the People session?

MPS is run by volunteers who are there to help address residents problem to the relevant party. If after which the party does not do anything or is unable to accede to your request, there's really nothing much the volunteers can do. You should speak to your MP and make him do the work because he's the only person drawing allowance there at the MPS.

Say, I thought the MP should be there at all times. That's his/her job. You are paying him to work for you.
Anyway, which area is this? Which MP is to be stationed there?

Aren't MPs being paid to do their job?  Complain to our PM Lee.

This problem arise to many others as well. Those who in need, seek help from most MP, but no answer or result. Easier said than done. Imaging those who are helpless, especially in this develop nation where every cost is rising.
