I think our govt now thinking how to earn the ELDERLY MONEY LIAO.
Last time I got ONE neighbour. 83 then died. 80 years old, GA NA STROKE, GA NA KIDNEY FAILURE. GA NA many many. ONE month medical bills more than $3000 dollars. Stay in the nursing home already $2500 BYE BYE LIAO.
Ask can go home or not ? They say " Cannot ! You must this lah. You must that lah. Then we allow you to go home. You do somemore ! $3000 even more ! Died you responsible huh ! Govt can SUE you OK !
SON sell HDB lah. Children all suffer. Even WIFE also divorce him. Died leh ! Children go to school even borrow money from friends to get FOOD to eat. Some even resort to steal money. Go see MP also no use one. The most write letter. ( Pay later loh ).
Ask govt help. They say your income got $2500 very high. Cannot help.
When he died. Whole family so happy like Ga na 4D leh !
In china, they pay one lump sum. If stay longer, Govt pay. Family still can LIVE.
In Singapore. No money. You OWN THEM MONEY LEH !
Which GOVT better ? Somemore our govt OPEN the door to them "GOOD GOOD LEH". Cheaper better faster.
