I don't get it, really don't. PR is 5 years, subjected to renewal. So it means technically speaking these PRs are still FOREIGNERS. We spend so much money and effort on intelligence and counter-intelligence. Yet publicly allow foreign spies to infiltrate our facilities without batting an eye.

I can't help but wonder, which country are these people who keep bugging the Gahmen to put PRs into SAF from? Or are they double agents?

This PR try to escape from NS. After all the education, Free things from Singapore.

Go to the SCDF lah. HDB people want to jump down. You go and SAVE loh. If you died, it's national duties ! Died lah. drop down from 8 or 24 floor.

I strongly SCDF go and do all the most dangerous job that is no ZERO INTELLIGENCE AND COUNTER-INTELLIGENCE.

Aiyah...guys...the best way is to ban issuing of PR, then there would not be so much issue or worries about national securities, and what not, etc...Just give foreigners work permit pass instead of giving them PR. If foreigners decided to make Singapore their homeland, then apply for Singapore citizenship straightaway, and throw away their existing citizenship. That way, things will be more clear cut, and foreigners do not sit on the fence...and government do not need to give subsidies to about half a million PRs. Just making my point.

Supersmart idea!.. Problem solved.  Many will try to outwit us, siphoning the best deals after using the country's benefits and flee.

If they are REALLY INTERESTED in being a citizen, they would apply for one. NO NO on dual citizenships from which they can get  the best of both worlds. There are tricky people.

We shouldn't play into their hands.

WOW1 SMART THINKING. YOU'VE GOT A VERY, VERY STRONG POINT !

I've never thought about that...Let them patrol the streets, firefighting, other dangerous stunts except NS, where all our intelligence network, locations, whatever of importance involving Singapore are stored!

Than you should say no more PRs, is either you work as S Pass workers or Citizens of Singapore. Which means who ever want to be in Singapore to work is either you convert to Singaporeans or stay as work permit as S-Pass or others but no PRs.

Best to assign PRs to do area/toilet cleaning or guard duty in SAF camps. Make full use of their talents and saves us a lot of money on outsourcing the tasks.

Police and SCDF are part of our total defence.
you know how to fight fire? you know how to do first aid?
The things they do are meaningful in other aspects.

zero intelligence? you do not even have intelligence to write properly.
i suggest people like you should be put into the spca to finish NS duties.

The resources is all out in the Internet.

Osama did not went thru a army camp to know how to make a bomb.

You sound like a ignorant f, SCDF manage shelter in times of war and fight against biohazard attack.

They taught you these in army?

This "PR" happens to be born in K K hospital, registered as a SIngapore Citizen. Born to two local SIngaporean who are unfortunately born in Singapore as Singapore citizens. And this "PR" happens to pay taxes, have his job replaced by China nationals, did not vote for PAP. Cannot afford HDB, now jobless again with dim job prospects.

And this "PR" has served his NS and completed his reservist cycle. This "PR" knows more about Singapore and what happened in the past than what your lack of history and little regard for security.

This "PR" has done more for Singapore than you will ever do with your ending mindless finger pointing.

And it is more likely you are the real PR around here for obvious reasons stated in my original post.

Anyone remember the Malaysian PR who somehow got into military facilities with a fake rank? I doubt...
