Recent on-line rumors that our PAP founder and senior politician, Mr Lee Kuan Yew was in critical health were all greatly exaggerated. Many of us were puzzled and we had no idea how such false allegation happened
before our National Day 2012 celebration. Hopefully those responsible will cease from groundless postings and gossips without valid explanation. Many of us were glad to see our honorable
LKY smiling and looking good as he took his time to find his seat at
the NDP event amidst lots of applauses to confirm he is indeed well and happy.
Wishing LKY and family good health and prosperity.

I hope they shall investigate those rumour mongers and have them arrested.

Arrest them for what? Spreading rumours? If rumours are not substantiated, they're just rumours. You want the government to the government to control what people say? Go to North Korea!

People who are not responsible initiate such claims to cause distress and subversion.
Yes such people deserve to be shot!

The rumors of LKY's demise causes distress to who exactly?
How does shooting people who start rumors help? If that's the case, our tabloid editors should be shot because of gossips and rumors that are their staple news item.
Typical authoritative dominated mindset at work.

When the Police investigate and arrest the rumour initiator, you should be the first one there to bail them out.
It's called putting your money where your mouth is.
If the Police does not post bail, sentence is death by execution by the trigger, I will volunteer to pull the trigger.
It's also called putting your money where your mouth is.
(I'm no great fan of LKY, but I'm equally no fan of you, the Devil, and the rumour initiator!)

Poor deluded digit. Pull the trigger? Don't talk when you can't walk the walk. Nothing but an internet tough guy. You are simply laughable and pathetic.
Rumours happen boy,
DEAL WITH IT!

We live inorder to die.

Those who thought he died must have thought they saw the devil at the NDP, and dropped dead themselves.
Now wont that be the real joke!?..........hahaha

So that we will stand up and clap hands on National Day 2012 for him?
Just wondering.
No idea why such rumour goes around, he is already very old, can't expect him to live forever.

Yes, LKY was a great leader in his time. But old age is no respecter of anyone who is also well remembered for the outstanding good, the dreadful or the despicable. To each leader, he either draws praise or a mixed feelings from the mind of each citizen in his country.

Most of us in our late 40's or above know what we have gone through from the 60's, 70's, 80's ..till now. We worked hard because we do not have as much resorces and entrusted our leaders to help develop Singapore for our next generation and let them have a decent house, job and healthy environment to live in.
If you are at leave staying in a HDB flat, has some CPF, educated, living in a clean place and etc. then that is about all we can give you. Don't blame us or the past leaders for not being able to continue to create anymore luxury for you because we are growing old. Looking at the situation, we cannot expect much from our new gernation but at least respect and appreciate what we have done for the country, although not perfect, Try to take up the responsiblity to work hard or maintain what you have or build a new country that you want wih yourr new leaders and move on and let everyone live their life in peace..
