I read recently that 3 blocks of HUDC apartment at Potong Pasir were privatized.  The only HUDC estate yet to be privatized is Braddell View. Braddell View was one of the oldest estates built by the HUDC.

Before the last general election, a MP from Bishan Toa Payoh GRC and a senior HDB officer came to the estate to meet and explain to the residents the procedures to get Braddell View privatized.  As residents, we were very honoured and happy to have such a treatment from the MP and the HDB.
 
Since then, it appears that not much tangible progress has been made. With no follow-up update and timeframe given by the MP or the HDB, we do not know exactly what is holding up and just have to wait and wait, with no light in the tunnel!
